Privacy and cookies

This site is run by Eduard Vlase Limited, a company in the United Kingdom. There are no accounts, no forms and no advertising. The only cookies are Google Analytics cookies, and only if you accept them.
Cookies
On your first visit we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. If you reject them, or don't choose, none are set and Google Analytics doesn't load at all.

Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so we don't ask on every page. We ask again after a year. You can change your mind at any time, here or with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops and its cookies are deleted.
Visit statistics
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and doesn't follow you to other websites. We only see totals, such as how many people opened a song page.
- Google Analytics, only if you accept, tells us which pages and songs are used, which country or city visits come from, the kind of device and browser, and how people found the site. Google Analytics doesn't log or store IP addresses. Google processes this data for us and may do so outside the UK, under its data protection terms. We keep it for at most 14 months. Advertising features and ad personalisation are switched off.
Videos
Song videos are hosted on YouTube. Until you press play, a song page shows only a picture: nothing is loaded from YouTube. When you press play, the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com, and from then on YouTube's own privacy policy applies to the video.
Quizzes and practice
Your answers stay in your browser. So you can pick up where you left off, your best scores and your verb trainer progress are saved in your browser's local storage on this device. They are never sent to us, and you can reset them on the verb trainer page.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages to you.
Your rights and contact
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or object to how it's used. Contact Eduard Vlase Limited through eduard-vlase.com. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
